The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prohaska tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Van Damme.

Van Damme dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prohaska. That did some damage!

Van Damme rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Prohaska moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Prohaska seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Prohaska feints and as Van Damme raises his hands in defense, Prohaska changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Van Damme is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prohaska is controlling him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Prohaska is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
I looks like Prohaska might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Van Damme knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prohaska on the ground.

Van Damme is trying to defend against the choke here but Prohaska has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Prohaska Tightens the hold and Van Damme taps out furiously! Prohaska displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
