And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bayer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Diggler!
Diggler is looking to get to half guard.
Bayer controlling his opponent.
Diggler is wriggling around trying to escape.
Diggler tries to hold on but Bayer pushes him away.
Diggler is looking to improve his position but Bayer isn't that keen on the idea.
Diggler is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Diggler bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Bayer keeping moving, preventing Diggler from controlling successfully.
Diggler scoring with punches to the head and body.
Diggler slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bayer tries to kick Diggler off but Diggler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Diggler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bayer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Diggler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bayer is looking to escape.
Diggler is trying to control the action in half guard but Bayer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Diggler looks gassed!
Diggler is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bayer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Diggler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bayer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Diggler throwing shots but Bayer is blocking nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bayer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bayer misses with a hook. Diggler ducked under it nicely.

Bayer scores with a takedown into Diggler's guard.
Bayer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diggler on the ground.

Diggler pushes Bayer off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Diggler takes the fight into the clinch.

Diggler manages to break the clinch.
Diggler avoids a punch combination nicely.

Diggler feints and as Bayer raises his hands in defense, Diggler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Diggler passes Bayer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Diggler stands up and beckons Bayer to join him on the feet.

Diggler's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Diggler duly obliges.
Bayer drops Diggler with a big left hand! Diggler is injured, injured bad! Bayer jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
