Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nanak Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Rourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nanak Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Rourke!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Rourke duly obliges.
Rourke sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rourke misses with an uppercut. Singh saw that one coming.
Singh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rourke misses with a double jab.
Rourke just misses with a punch to the body.
Rourke throws a right hand that Singh ducks under and follows up with a left that Singh also avoids with ease.
Singh goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Singh lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rourke throws a series of punches but Singh moves out of range.
Rourke works Singh's body with a nice hook.
A low kick from Rourke is predictable there
and Singh counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Singh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rourke throws out the jab.
Singh misses with a head kick.
Rourke blocks the body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Singh pushes Rourke away with a front kick.
Rourke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Singh sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rourke lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Singh misses with a straight right.
Rourke throws a body punch but Singh moves out of range.
Singh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rourke.
Singh has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rourke fails to land with a series of punches.
Rourke misses with a wild body shot.
Rourke throws out a loose jab but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rourke falls off balance throwing a combination
and Singh makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rourke really felt that one!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rourke takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Singh looks to land a body kick but Rourke moved away.
Singh throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Mickey Rourke has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rourke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Singh circles away quickly and effectively.
Rourke chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Singh can pounce on him.
Rourke looks gassed!
Singh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rourke was well out of range. Poor timing from Singh.
Singh bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Singh lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rourke's sensitive parts.
Singh throws a head kick but Rourke moves out of range.

Singh throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Rourke stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Singh follows into mount!


Rourke is rocked!

Singh looking to secure an arm triangle but Rourke defends it well.
Rourke is still in real trouble! Can Singh finish him?
Singh controlling the pace for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Singh tries to control but Rourke wriggling away.
Rourke seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Singh fails to take his opponent's back.

Singh is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rourke has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Singh avoids the attempt from Rourke to control.

Singh looking to isolate an arm here. Rourke doesn't see it coming and as Singh extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Singh!
