PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dragon Hazwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Pink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazwan comes to the cage accompanied by Final Countdown by Europe. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pink shoots in and bounces Hazwan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pink stands and throws Hazwan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hazwan stops Pink from passing to mount.
Pink is working Hazwan over with some ground and pound from side control.

Pink wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hazwan, who protects the arm well.

Pink looks up at the clock and then as Hazwan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pink smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Pink connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hazwan some visible discomfort.
Hazwan is looking to regain half guard here but Pink keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Pink jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hazwan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hazwan and Pink has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Pink postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Pink wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hazwan keeps working.
Pink tries to move to mount but Hazwan blocks the move with his legs.

Mr Pink comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pink has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
