Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Tonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grey Te Whena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Te Whena's choice of entrance music: Garden Knome - Barbarella. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonka dives in and grabs Te Whena's left leg, looking for a takedown. Te Whena pushes down on Tonka's head and hops out.
Tonka tries for a takedown but Te Whena sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tonka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

That was a close round but I would say that Timmy Tonka will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Te Whena throws a nice looking combination but Tonka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Te Whena doesn't manage to clinch there - Tonka circles away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tonka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Te Whena paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tonka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Te Whena tries to avoid it but Tonka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Te Whena to the ground. Te Whena escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Grey Te Whena showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
