Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sana wants to clinch up but Overeem keeps it at a distance.
Overeem lands an overhand right.

It looks like Kova Sana has been cut.
Overeem swats away the attempt to clinch by Sana.
Overeem fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Overeem throws a nice looking combination but Sana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Overeem misses with a series of wild punches.
Sana fails with the takedown.
Sana is breathing heavily.

and Sana counters with a shoot takedown. Overeem fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Overeem looking for a sweep. Not yet Overeem, not yet.

Overeem wriggles free and stands up.
Overeem scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Overeem scores with a hook to the body. Sana takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Overeem pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Overeem lands a left and a right that send Sana crashing to the mat, dazed. Overeem thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Overeem cracks Sana with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sana looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Overeem finish him?

Sana is rocked!

Kova Sana's cut is getting worse.
Overeem throws a quick head kick that knocks Sana silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Overeem is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
