Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fina Cuervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tepez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tepez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Slayer - Here Comes The Pain. Vlad Tepez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fina Cuervo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vlad Tepez! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tepez slips a straight right by Cuervo. Tepez moves into the clinch successfully.
Tepez lands an uppercut. Cuervo working hard to break the clinch. Tepez pulls guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tepez is on top in guard.
Tepez is looking to work some ground and pound but Cuervo has wrist control. Tepez lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cuervo is looking to stand up but Tepez isn't so interested in that idea. Tepez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tepez trying to control but Cuervo is working from the bottom. Cuervo wants to stand but Tepez is controlling the position. Tepez works a leg free and moves into half guard. Tepez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tepez uses his free foot to push down on Cuervo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cuervo. BOOM! Tepez connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tepez raining down shots from the mount! Tepez lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Tepez is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cuervo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Tepez is going olschool here, as he tries to force Cuervo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cuervo shrugs it off. Cuervo tries to hold on but Tepez postures up. Cuervo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Tepez is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cuervo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tepez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tepez is in the full mount, landing strikes. Cuervo is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cuervo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Cuervo is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tepez cracks Cuervo with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vlad Tepez!
