Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Loeinbrau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Angelo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Angelo as Loeinbrau shoots in.
Angelo fails to land with a series of punches.
Angelo misses with a double jab.
Angelo throws a low kick, looking for Loeinbrau's leg but Loeinbrau calmly moves out of range.

Loeinbrau shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Loeinbrau showed some decent athleticism there.

Loeinbrau seems to be looking for submissions.
Angelo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Loeinbrau got a little sloppy there for a moment and Angelo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Loeinbrau has managed to get both his arms back between Angelo's legs - danger averted.

Angelo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Loeinbrau is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Angelo has his foot on Loeinbrau's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Loeinbrau works his way back into a safe position though.
Loeinbrau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Angelo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Angelo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Loeinbrau thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Angelo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Loeinbrau defends well.

Loeinbrau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Angelo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Loeinbrau trying to control the position from guard on top but Angelo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Loeinbrau is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Angelo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Loeinbrau is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Angelo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Loeinbrau's back instead.
Loeinbrau tries to escape but Angelo has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You can see the frustration on Loeinbrau's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Angelo has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Loeinbrau! Can he survive? No! He's out! Angelo gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
