Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ikki de (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esmael Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Linkin Park - bleed out. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ali's choice of entrance music: Toxicity. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Ali swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and de is now in Ali's guard. A big mistake from Ali there, giving up the dominant position!
de got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ali has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, de has managed to get both his arms back between Ali's legs - danger averted.

Ali is looking for a triangle here but de uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Ali has hold of de's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and de manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ali closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming de to the mat! de manages to get full guard.

Ali works his foot free and advances to mount.
Ali goes for an armbar but de turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from de.
Ali working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. de doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ali is tightening it up a little... de has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! de reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! de taps out! nice BJJ there by Ali!
