Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bada Bada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Pieru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as George Pieru enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bada Bada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Pieru!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pieru keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Bada misses.
Pieru has closed the distance and engaged Bada in a clinch.
Bada wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pieru has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bada is trying to keep an underhook but Pieru manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Pieru looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pieru wants to pass to mount but Bada is defending the position.
Pieru is trying to control. Bada wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bada looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pieru throwing shots but Bada is blocking nicely.

Pieru looks to land a strike but Bada avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Pieru is looking to work some ground and pound but Bada has wrist control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bada lands with an uppercut that bounces Pieru off the cage and back into rage.
Pieru throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bada's waist but Bada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pieru off to one side.

and Pieru counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bada keeping moving, preventing Pieru from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bada wants to sweep here but Pieru controlling him for the moment.

Pieru lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pieru accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pieru throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bada works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pieru postures up in Bada's guard and throws a big left but Bada blocks it.

Bada is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pieru is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pieru tries to move into range but Bada moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Pieru wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bada keeps working.
Bada makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
A decent looking cross lands there for Bada.

and Bada counters with a three punch combo that has Pieru backing up. Pieru nods at Bada to acknowledge the strikes.
Pieru closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Still in half guard, Pieru seems content to control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pieru trying to mount his opponent but Bada defends it.
Pieru thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bada's head.
Bada has one foot on Pieru's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

enabling Bada to counter with a crisp jab.
Bada Bada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Pieru.

so Pieru counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Pieru postures up in Bada's guard and throws a big left but Bada blocks it.

Pieru stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bada swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pieru drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pieru jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pieru tries to land a leg kick but Bada saw it coming and moves away.
Pieru moves in looking to clinch but Bada pushes him off.
Bada Bada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pieru bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pieru drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bada wants to sweep here but Pieru controlling him for the moment.
Pieru works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pieru takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pieru misses with a head shot. Bada uses the momentum to regain guard.
Pieru throws a strike but Bada rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Pieru is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bada wants to control from the top but Pieru keeps moving.
Bada tries to free his leg and advance position but Pieru is retaining full guard.
Pieru looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pieru is breathing heavily.
Pieru is looking to stand up but Bada isn't so interested in that idea.
Pieru has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bada has passed into side control.

Bada thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bada prevents Pieru from escaping the position.
Bada looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bada is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pieru knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Bada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pieru stands and throws Bada's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bada takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Pieru creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bada sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Pieru takes a little break here. Bada wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Bada is looking to regain half guard here but Pieru keeps moving and retains side control.
Bada is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Pieru cracks Bada with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Pieru immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Bada is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Pieru!
