The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young lands with a right hand.

It looks like Sonny Bicket has been cut.
Young throws a right and a left that Bicket avoids nicely.
Young with a nice cross.
Bicket blocks a jab.
Young tests Bicket's chin there with a solid looking shot.
No joy there for Young, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bicket showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Young.
Bicket tries a head kick but it misses.
Bicket shoots in for a takedown but Young shows good takedown defense.
Young misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Bicket with that takedown attempt.
Bicket shoots in and drives through. Young sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sonny Bicket. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Young ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Joe Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Young slaps away a takedown attempt from Bicket, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Young misses with the combination.
Young stalks Bicket and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bicket's face. Bicket staggers backwards, shaken.

Bicket takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Young comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bicket really is a fat lump.
Bicket is breathing heavily.
Young goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Young scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Young swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Young defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bicket.
Young connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Sonny Bicket's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Young connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Young lands with a nice body punch.
Bicket takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Young drops Bicket with a beautiful combination! Bicket stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Young is looking for the KO!

Bicket is rocked!
Young drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bicket's head, knocking him out cold! Young is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
