The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raithert lands with a straight right. Denis didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Julien Denis has been cut.
Raithert walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Denis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Warren Raithert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raithert scores with a shot to the body.
Denis looks gassed!
Raithert cracks Denis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Raithert has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Denis to stand back up!

Denis is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Denis drops his hands momentarily. Raithert doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Denis staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Denis doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
