The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Schultz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Schultz cracks a nice hook into Hynes's ribs.
Hynes shoots for a double leg takedown but Schultz sprawls well. He's pushed Hynes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
