The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loosem throws a right and a left that Nogueira avoids nicely.
Nogueira slips a jab and a cross from Loosem.
Loosem misses with a wild combination.
Nogueira fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nogueira on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Nogueira looks for a takedown but Loosem sprawls well.
Loosem lands a big uppercut and Nogueira crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nogueira looks OK. Loosem waves Nogueira back to his feet!

It looks like Santiago Oliviera Nogueira has been cut.
Loosem leaves Nogueira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Winston Loosem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santiago Oliviera Nogueira.
