Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kassidy Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Dublin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liam Dublin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kassidy Hayes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Dublin!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hayes tries to keep at a distance but Dublin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dublin trying to control the position but instead, Hayes has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dublin into the cage.
Dublin prevents the takedown attempt.
Hayes goes for a takedown attempt but Dublin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dublin wants to clinch.

Hayes gets the takedown into side control.

Hayes is trying to get an arm triangle but Dublin is defending well.

Hayes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dublin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dublin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Hayes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hayes is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dublin wants to get back to his feet.

Hayes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hayes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hayes tries for a kimura but Dublin is defending well.
Dublin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hayes asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hayes tries for a kimura but Dublin is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dublin throws Hayes to one side and escapes!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dublin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dublin tries to clinch up but Hayes circles away and keeps his distance.

Hayes shoots in and bounces Dublin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dublin wants to get back to his feet but Hayes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hayes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dublin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hayes, into his guard.
Dublin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Dublin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hayes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dublin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hayes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dublin has managed to get both his arms back between Hayes's legs - danger averted.
Dublin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hayes's guard.

Hayes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dublin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dublin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hayes has his foot on Dublin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dublin works his way back into a safe position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hayes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hayes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dublin tries to clinch up.
Kassidy Hayes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dublin feints and then cracks Hayes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hayes down.
Dublin throws a series of strikes that have Hayes backpedaling.
Dublin closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Hayes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dublin is trying to stand back up but Hayes is controlling him

Hayes is trying for a kimura here. Dublin looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hayes wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kassidy Hayes!
