Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Puhakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Parrington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puhakka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Puhakka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Puhakka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Parrington.

Puhakka pushes Parrington up against the cage in a clinch.
Parrington fails to pull guard.
Sam Puhakka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Parrington.
Parrington has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Puhakka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Puhakka is working for takedown but Parrington is calmly controlling the position for now.
Parrington wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Puhakka has hold of one of Parrington's legs. Parrington is fighting the takedown attempt but Puhakka gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Parrington is looking for a triangle but Puhakka pushes his legs off easily.

Parrington is looking to sinch up a triangle. Puhakka throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Parrington's body to avoid the submission. Parrington has instead reached around Puhakka's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Parrington arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
