The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeton dodges the punch combination from Farve.
Freeton misses the shot to the body.
Freeton tries to clinch up.
Farve throws a right hand that Freeton ducks under and follows up with a left that Freeton also avoids with ease.
Freeton tries to close the distance and clinch but Farve swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A left and a right from Farve both land. Nice combination.
Freeton fails with a takedown attempt.
Freeton shoots for a double leg takedown but Farve sprawls well. He's pushed Freeton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Farve scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Freeton looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Farve misses with an attempted mid kick.
Farve lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Freeton circles away quickly and effectively.

Brett Farve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Troy Freeton.

Farve's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Farve duly obliges.
Farve fakes the leg kick and cracks Freeton in the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farve dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Freeton. That did some damage!
Farve drops Freeton with a nice combination! Farve dives into Freeton's guard, looking to finish!

Freeton is rocked!

Farve stands and steps away. Freeton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Farve! Freeton is out on his feet! Farve rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Freeton is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Freeton is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
