Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Nielsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Acme!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acme scores with a hook.

It looks like Peter Nielsen has been cut.

Nielsen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nielsen throwing strikes from guard but Acme blocks nicely.
Nielsen stands and throws Acme's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nielsen fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Acme is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nielsen looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Acme is avoiding damage well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Acme is trying to improve his position.
Acme really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nielsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nielsen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Acme keeps working.

Nielsen prevents Acme from escaping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nielsen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nielsen slips a straight right by Acme.
Nielsen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Acme.
Nielsen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nielsen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Acme throws a series of punches but Nielsen avoids them all with ease.
Nielsen throws a jab when Acme was well out of range.
Nielsen defending well as Acme loads up on a big left hand.

Nielsen walks straight into a right hand from Acme - that's dropped him! Acme jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nielsen from any more punishment! Nielsen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
