Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Vanhelvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lang tries to clinch but Vanhelvin moves out of range.
Lang moves in looking to clinch but Vanhelvin pushes him off.
Lang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vanhelvin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Vanhelvin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lang.
Lang misses with a takedown attempt - Vanhelvin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lang has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vanhelvin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Lang tries to clinch there but Vanhelvin circles away.
Vanhelvin leaves Lang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lang throws out a powerful jab.
Lang shoots in but Vanhelvin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lang tries to clinch up
and Vanhelvin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Lang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vanhelvin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vanhelvin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vanhelvin wants to get back to his feet but Lang is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lang is looking to clinch.
Lang lands a big head kick that sends Vanhelvin tumbling to the mat! Lang takes a step backwards and waves Vanhelvin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vanhelvin is rocked!
It looks like Melvin Vanhelvin has been cut.
Lang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vanhelvin is still on wobbly legs! Can Lang finish him?
Lang defending well as Vanhelvin loads up on a big left hand.
Vanhelvin seems to have recovered his senses.
Lang closes the distance looking to clinch
and Vanhelvin counters by moving into the clinch.
Vanhelvin is working for takedown but Lang is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lang dives in and grabs Vanhelvin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vanhelvin pushes down on Lang's head and hops out.

Lang slips under a jab from Vanhelvin.

Lang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vanhelvin as he avoids it easily.

Vanhelvin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lang throws a head kick that half lands.

Vanhelvin tries to clinch there but Lang circles away.
Lang throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vanhelvin's head.
Lang throws a hook to the side of Vanhelvin's head but Vanhelvin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Vanhelvin in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vanhelvin pinned against the cage. Vanhelvin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lang throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Vanhelvin tries to keep at a distance but Lang has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vanhelvin takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lang is trying to drag Vanhelvin to the mat but Vanhelvin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lang lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lang turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lang manages to end up in side control.
Vanhelvin is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lang working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Lang sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Vanhelvin is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Lang drops Vanhelvin with a beautiful combination! Vanhelvin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lang is looking for the KO!
Lang is looking to clinch but Vanhelvin is avoiding it.
Lang lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vanhelvin will feel that in the morning.
Lang throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Vanhelvin colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Lang as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Vanhelvin is left battered and dazed whilst Lang and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lang!
