Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fransje DuVal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Fransje DuVal has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DuVal looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slater is fending him off so far but DuVal persists. Nope, Slater circles away and we're back to standing.
DuVal shoots in for a double leg but Slater sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Slater drives through with a takedown into guard.

Slater drops back looking for a leg! DuVal is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DuVal manages to kick Slater off! Slater jumps back into DuVal's guard.
DuVal looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slater is one step ahead there.

Slater thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
DuVal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slater on the ground.
Slater wants to control from the top but DuVal keeps moving.
DuVal wants to sweep but no luck.
Slater sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DuVal's guard.
Slater prevents DuVal from improving his position.

Slater is working for a kimura but DuVal is defending it quite comfortably.

DuVal is trying to control but can't.
DuVal wants to improve his position but Slater is controlling well.
Slater trying to control from half guard but DuVal is working away.

Slater is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. DuVal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slater.
DuVal wants to control but Slater is keeping busy and won't allow it.

DuVal is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Slater locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! DuVal is forced to tap!
