Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Markus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Faith No More - Be Aggressive. Juan Delgado will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Delgado!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado stuffs the takedown attempt from Markus. Markus gets slowly back to his feet.

Delgado lands a left and a right that send Markus crashing to the mat, dazed. Delgado thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Markus. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Horrible takedown by Markus or perhaps it was just good defense by Delgado which made him look bad.

Well Delgado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
