The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gusarov fails with a takedown attempt.
Crown displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gusarov.
Crown lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Crown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Murray Crown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gusarov shoots in but Crown avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gusarov feints and as Crown raises his hands in defense, Gusarov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gusarov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Crown turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Crown is not content to let Gusarov control the position.
Gusarov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That's time! Crown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gusarov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crown sprawls well. Crown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gusarov gets slowly back to his feet.

Crown sizes up Gusarov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Crown counters with a thumping low kick.
Crown closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Crown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gusarov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Crown was covering up waiting for the punch and Gusarov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gusarov is in close to Crown's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gusarov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Gusarov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gusarov stands and steps away. Crown gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gusarov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gusarov lands in his opponent's guard.
Crown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gusarov is controlling him.

Crown wants to get back to his feet but Gusarov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gusarov postures up in Crown's guard and throws a big left but Crown blocks it.
Gusarov wants to control from the top but Crown keeps moving.

Gusarov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Crown keeping moving, preventing Gusarov from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Crown is not content to let Gusarov control the position.
Stepka Gusarov has got the better of the ground game so far.
Crown is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gusarov has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gusarov is looking to take a break and control but Crown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Crown is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Stepka Gusarov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gusarov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gusarov cracks Crown with a big right hand but Crown just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Gusarov looks up at the clock and then as Crown takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gusarov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gusarov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Stepka Gusarov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Gusarov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
