Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cowboi Mallboro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hexa Hexagon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Hexagon or perhaps it was just good defense by Mallboro which made him look bad.
Hexagon shoots in looking for a takedown. Mallboro tries to sprawl out of it but Hexagon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mallboro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mallboro scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hexagon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mallboro is controlling him well.

Mallboro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hexagon has escaped the position, nice work there.

You can see the frustration on Hexagon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mallboro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hexagon is just riding it out for now. Mallboro eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hexagon misses with a takedown attempt

and Mallboro counters with a shoot takedown. Hexagon fights it but they end up in guard.

Hexagon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mallboro escapes and throws Hexagon's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Mallboro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hexagon keeps working.

Mallboro decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hexagon to his feet.
Hexa Hexagon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hexagon fails with the takedown

and Mallboro counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Hexagon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mallboro has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mallboro!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Mallboro takes one to the chin there.
Mallboro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hexagon manages to avoid it.
Mallboro throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hexagon's head.

Hexagon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mallboro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mallboro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Mallboro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hexagon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hexagon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mallboro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hexagon.

Hexa Hexagon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cowboi Mallboro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Mallboro has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
