Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Toyoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remedios Verzosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Toyoku shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Toyoku tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Verzosa tries to hold on but Toyoku pushes him away.
Verzosa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Toyoku swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Verzosa is now in Toyoku's guard. A big mistake from Toyoku there, giving up the dominant position!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Verzosa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Toyoku is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Verzosa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Toyoku's back instead.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Verzosa throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Toyoku escapes and throws Verzosa's legs to the side, diving into side control!
