The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schembri fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mr X.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Schembri - that will leave a mark!
Mr X closes this distance looking for a takedown but Schembri circles away.
Mr X fails with a takedown attempt.
Mr X shoots in but Schembri avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Andre Schembri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olivier Mr X.
Mr X looks to score with a jab to the body but Schembri is just out of range.
Schembri misses with a body shot.
Schembri turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Schembri looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Andre Schembri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schembri looks to land a combination. Mr X sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Schembri thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mr X if he has to take too many more of those.
Schembri dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mr X. That did some damage!
Mr X is trying desperately to land a takedown but Schembri is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mr X.

Schembri lands a left and a right that send Mr X crashing to the mat, dazed. Schembri thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Schembri throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Mr X is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
