Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Kingkaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lance Kingkaid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingkaid leaves Peters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Peters tries to clinch there but Kingkaid circles away.
Peters lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Peters feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kingkaid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Peters forces his way into half guard.
Kingkaid blocking the ground and pound attempt from Peters.
Peters is looking to take a break and control but Kingkaid is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Peters passes to side control.
Peters creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Peters trying to control the action but Kingkaid is working from the bottom.
Kingkaid takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kingkaid tries to buck Peters off but Peters is having none of it.
Kingkaid taking punishment in the form of punches.
Peters just content to control the position.
Kingkaid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peters on the ground.
Kingkaid takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Kingkaid is breathing heavily.

Peters has an Americana. Kingkaid didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Peters is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Peters hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
