Loxo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
BJ Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice straight punches there by Penn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Penn.
Penn looks to land a left hand but Loxo moved out of range nicely.
Loxo walks into a jab.
Penn misses with a series of wild punches.
Penn missing with a left hand there. Loxo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Loxo misses the shot to the body.
Penn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Loxo moves away.
Penn scores with a one two! Loxo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Penn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Loxo sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Penn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Loxo circles away quickly and effectively.

Loxo darts in and clinches Penn up against the cage.
Loxo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Penn just stands there and leans against the cage.
Loxo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Loxo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Penn misses with an uppercut. Loxo saw that one coming.

Loxo has Penn up against the cage in a clinch.

Loxo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Loxo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Penn might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Loxo has managed to clinch.
Penn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Loxo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Penn or not.
Loxo tries to pull guard but Penn holds him up against the cage and eventually Loxo drops back down to his feet.

Loxo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Loxo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Penn backwards.

Loxo manages to break the clinch.
Penn gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Loxo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Penn doesn't seem bothered though.

and Loxo counters with a left to the body.

Loxo's corner calls for a 1-2. Loxo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Penn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Penn is rocked!
Loxo lands with a big right hook that stumbles Penn - he's out on his feet here! Loxo follows up with another monster hook that separates Penn from consciousness! Penn falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Loxo stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
