Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shane Krestner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krestner's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Remember the Name. Aaron Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krestner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Smith clinches up with Krestner and pushes him back against the cage.

Smith jumps guard and drags Krestner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Krestner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krestner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Krestner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Krestner finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
