Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joao Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes to the cage accompanied by Carl Orff - Carmina Burana - André Rieu's version. Garcia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Vendetta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alves tries to clinch but Garcia moves out of range.
Alves misses with a body kick.
Garcia lands a head kick!
It looks like Joao Alves has been cut.
Garcia misses with a head kick.
Garcia lands a jab to Alves's midsection.
Garcia lands a big head kick that sends Alves tumbling to the mat! Garcia takes a step backwards and waves Alves back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Alves is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Alves crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Garcia - the referee stops the clock and Alves gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Garcia. Alves manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garcia throws a body punch but Alves moves out of range.

Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An inside leg kick lands from Garcia.
Garcia drops Alves with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Alves! Garcia dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Leon Garcia!
