Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Manning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacob Meyer!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manning was well out of range. Poor timing from Meyer.
Meyer scores with a shot to the body.
Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Manning paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Manning.
Manning closes the distance and clinches up with Meyer, looking for a takedown. Manning pushes Meyer against the cage but Meyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Meyer swinging wilding here.
Meyer misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meyer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Meyer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Meyer throws a right and a left that Manning avoids nicely.
Manning showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Meyer.
Meyer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Meyer misses with an attempted mid kick.
Manning shoots in looking for a takedown. Meyer tries to sprawl out of it but Manning keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Meyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peyton Manning. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Meyer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Manning's head backwards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Meyer moves in looking to clinch but Manning pushes him off.
Meyer tries to land a front kick but Manning steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Manning slips a jab and a cross from Meyer.
Meyer misses with a body kick.
Meyer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Meyer throws a right hand that Manning ducks under and follows up with a left that Manning also avoids with ease.

Manning shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Meyer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Manning advances to full mount.

Manning moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Meyer has worked his arm free - good work by Meyer!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Manning tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Manning has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Manning has an Americana. Meyer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Manning is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Manning hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
