Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Sund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Smith!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sund ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sund changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Sund manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that David Sund will probably get the nod.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sund stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sund!
