The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crushin dodges the punch combination from Medly.
Nice defenses there by Medly.
Crushin throws a hook but Medly blocks it.
Crushin misses with a body shot.
A jab lands there for Crushin.
Crushin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
John Medly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crushin avoids the head kick by Medly.
Crushin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Medly sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Medly misses with a kick to the body.
Crushin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Medly manages to avoid it.
Medly moves out of range of the strikes.

Crushin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Medly slips a jab and a cross from Crushin.
Medly fails with an attempt to clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Medly throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Medly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crushin throws out a loose jab but Medly uses good head movement to avoid it.
