The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silveti is defended easily by Micheal.
Micheal wants to clinch up but Silveti keeps it at a distance.
Silveti shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Micheal as he jumps to the side.

Micheal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silveti is trying to defend but Micheal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Micheal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silveti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silveti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Micheal is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silveti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Micheal's back instead.

Micheal is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.

Micheal decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Silveti has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Micheal. Oh but Silveti has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Micheal goes limp - he's gone! Silveti jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
