The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres misses with an attempted mid kick.
Torres wants to clinch.
Torres throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Torres is looking to clinch but Chi is avoiding it.
Chi swats away the attempt to clinch by Torres.
Torres fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Torres is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Torres wants to clinch up but Chi keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Chi stands up out of the half guard.
Torres doesn't manage to clinch there - Chi circles away.
Chi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fight stays on the outside here - Torres looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Torres rushes Chi and presses him up against the cage.

Torres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Torres wants to clinch up but Chi keeps it at a distance.

Torres displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chi.
Torres misses with the combination.
Torres throws a sloppy head kick and Chi moves out of range easily.
Chi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Torres is looking to clinch but Chi is avoiding it.

Chi shoots in for a takedown but Torres shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Torres tries to close the distance and clinch but Chi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chi shoots in looking for a takedown. Torres tries to sprawl out of it but Chi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Chi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Torres is looking to clinch.
Torres tries to clinch but Chi is having none of it.

Torres tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Torres throws a head kick but Chi moves out of range.

Torres lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chi circles away quickly and effectively.

Chi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Torres's half guard.

Chi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Torres sees it coming and defends easily.
Chi tries to pass to full mount but Torres defends it.

Chi seems to be working for a kimura but Torres defends the submission attempt.
Chi is breathing heavily.
Torres is trying to stand up here but Chi is controlling him well.

Chi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Torres is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
