The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer thuds a left hand into Swagger's body.

Meyer can't get the takedown.
Meyer misses with a short punch on the inside.
Swagger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Swagger wants to break the clinch but can't.
Meyer lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Meyer pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Meyer keeps control of Swagger as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Meyer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swagger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Swagger parries the strikes from Meyer easily there. Meyer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Swagger to escape.

Swagger pushes Meyer away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Meyer gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Swagger wants to get back to his feet but Meyer is dominant here and he's now got Swagger's back!

Well Meyer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
