Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Cottrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cottrell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Honor by Atreyu. Caleb Cottrell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris shoots in looking for a takedown. Cottrell tries to sprawl out of it but Norris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cottrell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Norris misses with a head kick.
Norris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cottrell leaves Norris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Norris fails to land the takedown.
Caleb Cottrell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Norris.
Norris closes the distance and clinches up with Cottrell, looking for a takedown. Norris pushes Cottrell against the cage but Cottrell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Norris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cottrell has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Norris uses from the top position.
