Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, shinya Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Francisco Valdez!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdez lands a with a good body shot.
Valdez lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Aoki sprawling to the canvas. Valdez follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Aoki hang on?
Aoki is rocked!
It looks like shinya Aoki has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Valdez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Oh Aoki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aoki seems to have got his legs back now.
Aoki controlling the position for now.
Valdez tries to stand but can't do so whilst Aoki controls his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aoki moves into full guard.
Aoki pulls Valdez in to control the position.
Aoki has a closed guard, preventing Valdez from standing up.
Aoki wants to sweep here but Valdez controlling him for the moment.
Valdez tries to stand but Aoki is controlling from the bottom.
Aoki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Valdez is one step ahead there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Aoki is controlling Valdez's posture.
Aoki is breathing heavily.
Valdez wanted to stand there but Aoki had control of the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Aoki throws a low kick but Valdez avoids it.
Valdez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Aoki.
Aoki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Valdez.
Jab, jab by Valdez - just one landing.
A nice combination there by Valdez.

Aoki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Valdez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aoki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Aoki takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Valdez lands a with a good body shot.
Valdez swinging wilding here.
Valdez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Valdez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Valdez connects with the punch.
Valdez sends Aoki crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Valdez is motioning to the referee to let Aoki up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Valdez cracks Aoki with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Aoki looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Valdez finish him?
A shot to de liver by Valdez. Beautiful body shot.
Aoki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Valdez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Valdez throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Aoki stumbling backwards into the cage! Aoki bounces back off the cage towards Valdez, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Valdez lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Valdez celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Francisco Valdez!
