Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Aronyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jung Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoi lands a nice shot that snaps Aronyan's head back.

It looks like Mike Aronyan has been cut.

Aronyan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hoi tries to roll over but Aronyan keeps him under control.

Hoi has his foot on Aronyan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aronyan works his way back into a safe position though.

Aronyan is bucking up trying to escape but Hoi cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Aronyan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Hoi is controlling Aronyan's posture.
Hoi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hoi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hoi throws a nice looking combination but Aronyan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hoi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hoi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Aronyan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hoi circles away.

Jung Hoi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Horrible takedown by Aronyan or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoi which made him look bad.

Aronyan closes the distance and clinches.
Hoi tries to break the clinch but Aronyan is controlling the position.
Aronyan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hoi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hoi tries to circle away but Aronyan has him pinned against the ropes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Aronyan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoi's guard.
Hoi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aronyan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hoi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Aronyan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hoi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Aronyan lets go of the hold and Hoi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
