The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lopez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Benn throws a push kick but Lopez slaps the foot to one side.

Benn tries to bum rush Lopez with a series of wild strikes but Lopez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Benn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lopez tries to avoid it but Benn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lopez to the ground. Lopez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

No joy there for Benn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Benn throws a right and a left that Lopez avoids nicely.

Benn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Benn showed some decent athleticism there.

Benn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lopez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Benn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Benn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Benn scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Lopez is rocked!
Benn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lopez is still on wobbly legs! Can Benn finish him?
Benn throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lopez colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Benn as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lopez is left battered and dazed whilst Benn and his camp cheer!
