Mac tries to bum rush Difelco with a series of wild strikes but Difelco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Difelco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Mac somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Difelco throws a head kick but Mac moves out of range.

Difelco shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mac is trying to defend but Difelco finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mac pushes Difelco off looking to stand but Difelco dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Eugene Mac will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Difelco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mac wants to stand but Difelco is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
