Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bodie Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think White might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hunt You Down by Saliva. Long has chosen Mamma Said Knock you out as his entrance music. Bodie Long is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.
White stopping the sweep attempt from Long.

Long is looking for a triangle but White pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White landing some decent shots from guard.
White trying to control the position from guard on top but Long is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

White wanted to stand there but Long had control of the position.

Long is looking for a triangle but White pushes his legs off easily.

White advances position into side control!
White cracks Long with a big right hand but Long just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

White advances nicely into full mount.
Long is still in real trouble! Can White finish him?
White is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Long can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
BOOM! White connects with a massive shot to the dome!

White lands a big shot there that rocks Long but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
White with shots to the head and body - Long looks very uncomfortable down there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

White postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Long looks a forlorn figure.

Long tries to get to full guard but White has control of the leg.

White moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Long.

White lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Long down.

White creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Long is looking to regain half guard here but White keeps moving and retains side control.
Long tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but White presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Long has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

White is posturing up here but Long has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! White tries to roll out but it's too tight and White has to tap! Slick submission there by Long!
