Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre The Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John LongSchlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Giant is looking to clinch but LongSchlong is avoiding it.
The Giant fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The Giant decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
LongSchlong manages to get to full guard.
LongSchlong looking for a sweep. Not yet LongSchlong, not yet.
LongSchlong preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

LongSchlong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Giant gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

LongSchlong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

LongSchlong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The Giant is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The Giant knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LongSchlong on the ground.

The Giant drops back looking for a leg! LongSchlong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LongSchlong manages to kick The Giant off! The Giant jumps back into LongSchlong's guard.

LongSchlong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

LongSchlong lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for The Giant!

LongSchlong looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The Giant swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The Giant is looking to get to half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - LongSchlong has eaten all the pies!

LongSchlong is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but The Giant is surviving well by controlling LongSchlong's body position as best he can.
The Giant keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
LongSchlong wants to take The Giant's back here but The Giant is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

LongSchlong looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Andre The Giant will probably get the nod.

The Giant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has LongSchlong pinned against the cage. LongSchlong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Andre The Giant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Giant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

LongSchlong takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
LongSchlong is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The Giant connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused LongSchlong some visible discomfort.
LongSchlong tries to buck The Giant off but The Giant is having none of it.
The Giant wants to control but LongSchlong is keeping him busy.
LongSchlong manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

LongSchlong is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but The Giant pulls his head out easily.
LongSchlong is breathing heavily.

LongSchlong tries to roll over but The Giant keeps him under control.

LongSchlong looking for submissions off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The Giant fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. LongSchlong sprawls well initially but The Giant persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The Giant takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The Giant working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The Giant slips a nice elbow through LongSchlong's hands, connecting with LongSchlong's forehead.

The Giant seems to be working for a kimura but LongSchlong defends the submission attempt.
The Giant takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Andre The Giant overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. The Giant connects with a nice short shot to LongSchlong's temple.
The Giant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for The Giant, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
