Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Collins as he avoids it easily.

Bourne shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bourne is trying to control the action in half guard but Collins is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bourne gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Bourne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Collins sprawls well. Collins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bourne gets slowly back to his feet.
Collins shoots and misses

and Bourne counters with a single leg into guard. Collins didn't expect that.
Bourne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Collins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Collins wants to get back to his feet but Bourne is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bourne has gone for a leg lock! Collins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bourne's guard.

Bourne controls Collins momentarily but Collins frees himself.
Collins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Collins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bourne napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Collins buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Collins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Collins.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bourne is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Collins or perhaps it was just good defense by Bourne which made him look bad.

A head kick from Collins lands but Bourne takes it in his stride.
Bourne throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Collins counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bourne thinking.

and Collins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bourne is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Collins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Collins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bourne's knee momentarily.

and Bourne counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Good leg kick by Collins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Collins tries to clinch up but Bourne circles away and keeps his distance.

Collins shoots in for a takedown but Bourne shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Collins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bourne sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Collins somewhat.

Collins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Collins showed some decent athleticism there.

Collins decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Collins lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bourne's sensitive parts.
Collins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Collins throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bourne wants to clinch
and Collins counters with a head kick. That will keep Bourne thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Collins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bourne looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bourne is trying to control Collins's posture but Collins avoids it.

Collins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Collins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bourne is looking for a sweep.

Mike Collins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Collins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
