Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wigge Nigge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Tonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wigge Nigge has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wigge Nigge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Timmy Tonka!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nigge throws a right hand that Tonka ducks under and follows up with a left that Tonka also avoids with ease.
Tonka fails in his attempt to clinch.

Nigge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Tonka is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tonka tries to hold on but Nigge postures up.

Tonka defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nigge.
Nigge sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Tonka is just holding on here. Nigge manages to take his back.

Nigge is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Tonka breaks Nigge's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Tonka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nigge dives on top into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nigge gets to his feet. Tonka looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tonka throws a sloppy head kick and Nigge moves out of range easily.
Nigge defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tonka.
Nigge blocks a low kick nicely.

Tonka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nigge changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Nigge pushes Tonka up against the cage in a clinch.
Tonka jumps guard but Nigge stands there with Tonka around his waist. Tonka gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nigge tries to break the clinch but Tonka is controlling the position.

Nigge ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nigge no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Nigge has his foot on Tonka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tonka works his way back into a safe position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Nigge wants to stand but Tonka is controlling the position.

Nigge shoots in and drives through. Tonka sprawls well.

and Nigge counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tonka's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nigge can't keep his opponent in guard - Tonka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Nigge tries to kick Tonka off but Tonka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nigge might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well Nigge has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
