Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nielsen shoots in but Hernandez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hernandez throws a right hand that Nielsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Nielsen also avoids with ease.
Hernandez throws a right and a left that Nielsen avoids nicely.
Hernandez bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Nielsen! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Nielsen is rocked!

It looks like Thomas Nielsen has been cut.

Nielsen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hernandez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nielsen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hernandez's back instead.
Hernandez trying to get back to his feet but Nielsen is in full control for now.

Hernandez manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Hernandez misses with a two punch combination.

Hernandez closes the distance and clinches.
Hernandez stops a takedown attempt from Nielsen.
Hernandez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hernandez has had enough of the clinch but Nielsen keeps him there for the moment.
Hernandez is trying to break the clinch but Nielsen has him pressed against the cage.
Nielsen wants a takedown but no success here.
Pablo Hernandez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Nielsen.

Nielsen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hernandez fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nielsen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nielsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Nielsen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hernandez tries to avoid it but Nielsen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hernandez to the ground. Hernandez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nielsen looks gassed!
Nielsen fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nielsen.
Hernandez drops Nielsen with a left and a right! Oh, Nielsen is hurt - Hernandez dives into side control looking to finish!
Nielsen is still in real trouble! Can Hernandez finish him?
Hernandez cracks Nielsen with a big right hand but Nielsen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hernandez decides to stand back up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hernandez cracks Nielsen on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nielsen falls backwards against the cage. Hernandez follows up with more strikes that drop Nielsen to his knees. Hernandez keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nielsen! This one is all over!
