The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Chapman or perhaps it was just good defense by Parish which made him look bad.
Parish throws a hook but Chapman blocks it.

Chapman ducks straight into an uppercut from Parish and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Chapman manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Mark Chapman has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Parish passes Chapman's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Parish lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Parish is nestled in close to Chapman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Chapman is rocked!
