Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumina Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Imanari might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I BRING YOU DOWN!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masakazu Imanari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rumina Sato!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato is looking to clinch.
Imanari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sato takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Rumina Sato has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Imanari. That snapped Sato's head back.
Sato fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sato is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sato tries to move into range but Imanari moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Sato scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Imanari won't allow Sato to pass to mount.
Imanari is not content to let Sato control the position.
Imanari is trying to maintain the position but Sato is very close to passing his half guard.
Sato is keen to just control but Imanari is a slippery customer.
Sato stalling.

Sato is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Sato prevents Imanari from improving his position.

Sato is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Imanari defends it well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Imanari misses with a few strikes there.
Sato shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Imanari slips a jab and a cross from Sato.
Imanari throws a series of punches but Sato avoids them all with ease.
Imanari avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sato fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sato looks gassed!
Sato falls off balance throwing a combination
and Imanari counters with a straight right hand.
Imanari stalks Sato and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sato's face. Sato staggers backwards, shaken.
Imanari tries to bum rush Sato with a series of wild strikes but Sato uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sato fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Imanari sprawls well initially but Sato persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Imanari is pressing down on Sato's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Imanari not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sato stopping the sweep attempt from Imanari.
Imanari is working hard here to advance position.

Imanari escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sato advances position into side control!
Imanari sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Imanari is trying to control but can't.
Sato is pressing down on Imanari's thigh, looking to free his foot. Imanari is holding on for now.
Sato trying to advance position but Imanari counters by regaining guard.

Sato is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Imanari has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sato is looking to defend but Imanari has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sato! Imanari pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sato taps out and this one is all over!
