Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tero Nuppi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and black dealer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

dealer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
dealer wants to pass the guard but Nuppi is keeping the position.

Nuppi has a closed guard, preventing dealer from standing up.

Nuppi drops back looking for a leg! dealer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and dealer manages to kick Nuppi off! Nuppi jumps back into dealer's guard.
dealer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
dealer is trying to control. Nuppi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Nuppi is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but dealer pulls his head out easily.
dealer wants to control but Nuppi is keeping him busy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nuppi is staying active underneath dealer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

dealer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nuppi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. dealer tries to avoid it but Nuppi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag dealer to the ground. dealer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tero Nuppi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nuppi shoots for a takedown but dealer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
dealer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

dealer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - dealer lands in his opponent's guard.

Nuppi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and dealer defends well.

dealer feints and then cracks Nuppi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nuppi down.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nuppi.
dealer tries for a takedown but Nuppi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

dealer looks to land a combination. Nuppi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and dealer counters with a big head kick but Nuppi shrugs it off.

Nuppi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nuppi is trying to drag dealer to the mat but dealer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
