Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonton Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lim doesn't manage to clinch there - Kane circles away.
Lim throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lim should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lim misses with a double jab.
Lim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lim throws a one two combo.
Kane tries to clinch there but Lim circles away.
Kane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lim but Lim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kane moves away from the strike by Lim.
Lim throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kane fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lim avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck for Kane with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane dives in and grabs Lim's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lim pushes down on Kane's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kane shoots in for a takedown but Lim shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lim looks to land a combination. Kane sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Lim has managed to clinch.

Kane tries to pull guard but Lim holds him up against the cage and eventually Kane drops back down to his feet.
Kane is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lim pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kane is breathing heavily.
Lim tries to land a knee to the head but Kane blocks with his arms.
Lim lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kane backwards.
Lim wants to break the clinch but can't.
A right handed body shot lands from Lim.
Lim pushes Kane back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kane goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lim prevents it.
Kane tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kane tightens his grip and picks Lim up, before dumping him to the ground. Lim manages to land in guard.
Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Lim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lim is looking to stand up but Kane isn't so interested in that idea.

Lim preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kane is standing up over Lim. Lim looks to escape but Kane dives into side control.
Lim wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lim tries to clinch

and Kane counters by moving into the clinch.
Lim is trying to break free.

Kane drags the fight down to the ground.
Lim would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lim wants to get up but he can't break Kane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kane is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Lim frees his head nicely. Oh but Kane has switched to an armbar! Lim is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
