Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mick Dundee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Zullo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zullo was well out of range. Poor timing from Dundee.
A combination from Dundee does no damage.
Dundee slaps away a takedown attempt from Zullo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dundee throws a jab but it's blocked by Zullo.

Dundee lands a left and a right that send Zullo crashing to the mat, dazed. Dundee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Michael Zullo has been cut.
Dundee swings for the body but Zullo moves out of range.
Dundee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zullo.
Zullo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zullo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dundee.
Zullo dodges the punch combination from Dundee.
Dundee throws a series of punches but Zullo moves out of range.
Dundee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zullo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dundee.
Donk. Dundee catches Zullo right on the button with a cross.

Dundee misses with a double jab.
Zullo shoots for a takedown but Dundee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zullo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Zullo looks gassed!
Dundee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zullo manages to avoid it.
Dundee is looking to wear down Zullo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Dundee drops Zullo with a beautiful combination! Zullo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dundee is looking for the KO!


Zullo is rocked!
Zullo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dundee throws the left hand but Zullo avoids the punch easily.
Dundee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dundee throws a nice looking combination but Zullo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zullo sprawls well. Zullo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dundee gets slowly back to his feet.
Dundee dips to his left and cracks Zullo with an uppercut!
Mick Dundee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Some wild striking there from Dundee.
Dundee throws a series of punches but Zullo avoids them all with ease.
Zullo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dundee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mick Dundee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Zullo.

Zullo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dundee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The ground and pound from Zullo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Dundee is looking for a sweep.
Dundee is trying to control Zullo's posture but Zullo avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zullo is looking to take a break and control but Dundee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Zullo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dundee struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dundee is looking to regain half guard here but Zullo keeps moving and retains side control.
Zullo looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dundee is avoiding damage well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dundee tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Zullo easily slips into full mount!
Dundee tries to hold on but Zullo pushes him away.
Zullo blocks Dundee's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Zullo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dundee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Dundee dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Michael Zullo's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zullo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dundee.
Dundee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from Dundee.
Dundee misses with a looping left.
Dundee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zullo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dundee swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Dundee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dundee tries to get out of the position.
Zullo controlling his opponent.

Zullo is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Zullo!
